Default HELP: Which Wheels (Got It Narrowed Down)

LoL, if you can call it narrowed down. Just curious to see what everyone thinks I should go for wheel-wise, pics are in the signature if you haven't seen 'em. I'm considering these (for your choice, please specify size too)...

Polished Y2K C5 Wheels, Thin Spoke (17" or 18")
Polished or Chrome Z06 Wheels (17" or 18")
Polished AR Torq Thrust IIs (17")
Polished Boyd Smoothie IIs (17" or 18", MUCHO $$$$ <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> )

I'm looking for something that is going to "complete" the car. I want it to tie it all together and stay with the theme, the smooth type look. I think the thin spoke Vette wheels and the Boyd Smoothie IIs do a great job of this, keeping the car "smooth" and "clean." But I also think the Z06 wheels are sweet as are the TT IIs even though alot of people have them, both are nice wheels and I think would make the car more aggressive looking. The Boyds are most likely out of my price range, but if you think those are the ones then please suggest them over the others, all the others are reasonably priced even in 18" sizes. Thanks for any help.

PS: All these wheels will really show off my calipers, how about black painted calipers with the brushed aluminum "Trans Am" caliper decals? Would that look good or should I just go with red calipers? Thanks for any input.

I think any of wheels from that list would work well. I think that some 18' TT2s would look great on your car though. Just my opinion. Good luck.

I'm partial to the Y2K C5 wheels. That is just my
opinion tho...

Please post prices for the wheels you've selected. I didn't think the Boyd's were much over $1000 for a set? BTW- I think the smoothie 2's are #1!!

I'm not sure on exact pricing, but I can't spend over $300 per wheel, and all of the wheels fall into that catagory I know except the Boyds, and I'm not sure on the price of Smoothie II 18"s. I'm REALLY leaning towards the Y2K C5s or the Smoothie IIs, both in 18", but I'm just not sure yet. I absolutely suck a photoshop so I can't throw it together to see what it would look like. If anyone wants to give it a shot I'd appreciate it. I'm thining the Y2K C5s would make the car look lower, sleeker, kinda like it would just crouch down and take off. Whereas the Boyds would make it look more muscular and tougher, kinda like it would just run right over you. Hey josh.....

I had the 17/18 y2k combo on my ta and I didn't like it all that much.

Switched to 17" zr1's and I love them. Just my opinion though. Not a whole lot of difference in the two but to me it was worth the switch. <img src="http://webpages.charter.net/98ls1/zr1/tazr1a.jpg" alt=" - " /> <img src="http://webpages.charter.net/98ls1/Wheels/ta2y2kwheels.jpg" alt=" - " />

You can't really tell much about either pic especially the zr1 pic cause the car is dog butt dirty in that one.

or you can always go with the trailer park look like this <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img src="http://webpages.charter.net/98ls1/et%20streets/racetrim.jpg" alt=" - " />
