Yes they have studs on the back. I used a dremel and cut them off then ground them smooth. You'll have to flatten the emblems out some as they are made for the contour of the 69 fenders. I use a press to flatten mine out - just wrap them up good and placed them between 2 steel plates and pressed them. I used 3M emblem tape to stick them to the car. Picture link in sig.

Re: '69 Z28 EMBLEMS If you want to see how I did it take a look at my "site" in my profile (open it in IE) and go the " '69 Z28 Emblems Mod" page. One thing I'd suggest to do different, use a fender badge for the rear flatten it out as shown, and you only have to cut the bottom of the / between the Z and the 28 for it to fit.
