Rusty Rotors Hubs?

Rusty Rotors Hubs? I'm getting new rotors next week and was wondering if I can spray them over with some clearcoat before I install them without taping them off. Would the paint 'clog' the pad if I did that or just burn/wear off? What kind of clearcoat would you reccommend?

Re: Rusty Rotors Hubs? If you're talking about putting clearcoat on the surface of the rotor that the brake pads contact, that sounds like a horrible idea. Just tape them off and paint them. It'll take no more than 30 mins to tape them off. See my sig for a pic of painted rotors.
