Gimme some ideas.....
Gimme some ideas..... I am new to the whole appearance thing, have always been into performance, but now want the car to be purdy, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> so I need some ideas. Car is a 2002 Sebring Silver Z28 with black interior.
I have the following mods here, planned, or on the way:
Window tint, clear corners, 4 18" C5 fat 5 spoke wheels, thats about it. I'm going to have the wheels powder coated either black, or dark (gunmetal) gray. Also going to paint the calipers, silver or gray, not sure yet.
I have thought about some black GS stripes, and painting a few interior pieces body color, what do you think? Also, what about underhood mods, painting the headlights and bumper support thingy?
Any ideas or comments are welcome. car will be down for ~ 2-3 more weeks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> (see sig), soI have plenty of time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Gimme some ideas..... I like the painted wheel idea, but I would make sure that if you do paint the wheels leave the bead brushed aluminum and then clear coat it, like the Grand Sport wheels. Wither color would look good on a Silver car.
Definitely paint the nose support, either match the body of the car or high gloss black.
The sanded and painte headlights would look good. I'd go with silver, but make sure the silver matches your car, or it will look silly.
Be careful with the painting the interior. I know it looks good with Pewter ,and SOM. Silver is getting a little bright, although thinking about it may look like billet aluminum. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Another paint idea is to paint the area under youtr t-tops black to match the roof. The silver "U"s look a little silly.
