Default Dye Seat Belts???

I want my seat belts to match my ebony interior. Is it a mistake to use something like SEM to dye them to a black color? I don't want a diagonal black stripe on every shirt I have! Will it come off like that? Did GM make black seat belts?

GM made seat belts in Ebony (politically correct name for black) which you can find on many 01-02 cars.

Excellent! Thanks.
Just as a heads up, ebony implies the sheen in the seats. The material is called "oxen" and the color is ebony. There is an "oxen" black, but it has no shine. Just a silly fyi.
Thanks again!
