Racing Seats and weight
I've been looking for some seats to cut down on the weight.
Some Corbeau CR1's would be nice, but a pair weighs as much as the stock TA seats.
I'm not hardcore enough for aluminum Kirkey's.
Anyone know of a seat that is significantly lighter and still adjustable?

Ya, you really get limited when you still want adjustable. I don't know the weight of Bride seats but maybe look into those.
Racing seats, are always fixed back and average right around 20-25lbs unless you spend closer to 3k and get the lightweight versions that are in the 15lbs range. So how important is the weight thing to you?

After some more research I found out that the CR1's are 27 lbs. with their brackets even in wide widths. Not sure if this is cloth, suede, or leather though.
That's fairly significant over the power TA seats according to the weight list. I think I'll just go with those then.

My next task is installing some lightweight carpet for the vert without the rubber backing and oziting the gas tank hump. Stuff is on the way.
Hopefully this, firewall insulation, the backseats, belts and brackets, CR1's, and a grant steering wheel will give me 100 lbs. back.
