just got my tint......

Beware:Cell phone pics ahead......... as soon as it clears up and i get a day off new pics will come.....

so i have been making a bunch of custom touches to the SS and just wanted to share the progress.....
just got the tint done today.... 15% sides and back with a 15% window banner as well...... and now for the pics...

Makes me jealous. I miss my dark side tint. 43's the max here. I've tried retinting after inspection twice, got pulled over twice.

im not a fan of the windshield banners that go lower than stock, but other than that it looks great. tint is something i couldn't live without

i just got pulled over yesterday for my tint (15%), but he didn't give me a ticket. he got a call on his radio for a half-dead dog on the side of the freeway... he had to respond.

thanks guys... i love the windows.... i can see everybody but they can't see me.... it's great.......

looks great. i tinted my car the day after i bought it and best thing you can do

there's a reason every car manufacturer shows their cars with tinted windows in all their commercials...hehe

looks great man congratz, i was at a meet a few weeks ago and this guy with an ss told me that i should tint my t tops because if not the sun coming in threw them will lighten up the other tint , is this true? and how much did this run you ? lol sorry for all the questions man

Ya i like to rock the shades keeps that hot *** sun off me and makes interior look clean but why would they say they couldn't tint them? B/c of the dot matrix tint or something?

i leave my t-top inserts in like 100% of the time. i'll rarely take them out for a sunday drive when its too cold to actually to take the tops off.

i have everything on my car including the t-tops tinted 5%, and my windshield 50%. On my old WS6, i had only 5% tint on the hatch and both sides, but nothing on the t-tops and nothing on the windshield, and yes tinting the t-tops makes your tint look WAY darker. all of the light that comes through the factory (say 15% tint) on the t-tops lights up the inside of the car and this is what makes the difference. If you've ever parked your car with the windshield in direct sunlight, it is much easier to see into the car. eliminating the light coming into the car is what gives it the darker appearance and 5% on the t-tops is pretty much the same as the t-tops shades, but you can still look up at the sky

i can stare directly through my tops at the blazing sun and not be blinded,hehe.

where would i get those?

thanks for the compliments guys..... i still have a long road ahead of me to get the car exactly where i want it but someday it will get there....
