Vortex generators...
I've never seen one on an Fbody, a Mustang, Viper, or a Corvette for that matter. I think reason being is that our roof-to-rear window slope is not as advanced of an angle as a subcompact passenger vehicle and therefore there isn't a huge vortex in wind accumulation. So in turn, it does not yield it to be necessary for our cars to have them. I'm sure it can't hurt to have one fabbed up and put on the sail panel top...but I don't think it will be that beneficial, if at all. I hope I'm not misguiding you and someone can chime in and clarify this information. In aircraft theory, it does make sense in which it creates more load on take off and landing, but once again I'm not sure if it's applicable for our vehicle type.
these cars definitely have better aerodynamics (like you said) than normal passenger cars, and theyre slippery over the back, but thats a good question; i wonder how much difference theyd make
another challenge would be mounting them, and making it look good on an fbodys (relatively) streamlined roof
i actually remember a thread a few years back about 4th fbody drag coefficient compared to other cars on the road, and it was in the 90th percentile or somethin. kinda cool (lt1 camaro won amongst us all)

yeah I remember that thread I think the average drag coefficient of our 4th gen Fbodies was at like .32Cd ...and the LT1 Camaro came in at 0.338Cd.. I'm not really sure how to respectively interpret that data. I know that that drag is relative to a corvette or supras drag force....but should we be aiming for a lower or higher Cd...since lower will increase fuel efficiency. but...lift comes to play.
