Default Decent seat dye?

Is there ANY cloth dye that actually works well, and won't run and turn my t-shirt black if I get sweaty sitting in my damned black car in the staging lanes?

I recently picked up a set of Corbeau seats for a good price off of a buddy, unfortuantely, they're ugly as all sin, so I'd like to re-colour the red & blue patches black.

Thanks!

Amanda

I've read that if you use vinyl dye or even paint and then hit it with ScotchGuard when the paint cures and regularly thereafter you will have minimal issue with it coming off. If it were me, I'd just get that particular section reupholstered at an upholstery shop.

Buy a can of black vinyl dye and if you want go ahead and use that scotchgard ****. it'll be fine. I did my rear floor mats a year ago and they are still fine.
