Headlight sizing question... When you read the description of a projector headlight...for instance the Hella 90mm...what exactly is the "90mm" describing?
Is it the diameter, or the circumfrence of the lense, or the housing, or what?

Every manufacturer measures differently so its difficult to tell what that number represents.
In the case of the Hella 90mm, here is an image showing its measurements:
Looks like in this case, 90mm (3.54in) refers to the height of the round part of the front of the casing.
