LS1 vs. LT1

LS1 vs. LT1 My brother in law has an LT1 and I have an LS1. He always syas that an LT1 puts out more ponies, but I strongly disagree. Please tell him wich one has more pure american muscle. I would line 'em up and rip up a quarter to show him but it isn't fair because his is stock and I have a few mods.
Re: LS1 vs. LT1 Show him the hp outputs for LS1 cars vs LT1 cars. Stock for stock (and in some cases mod for mod) LT1 cars get slaughtered by LS1 cars.
Check out the 92 LT1 Corvette #s. 300hp even. Now, LS1 cars are making more then that, 02 'hawks are rated @ 345hp. Both motors are damn good, imo. But if i had an LT1 car sitting beside an LS1 car, i'd pick the LS1.
