Replacing automatic shifter handle

This is a corvette automatic. I would be really happy if this could be done to my TA.
Any opinions out there ?

You also might want to replace the plastic sliders with a leather shift boot. Its much cleaner looking IMHO. Just search this site for "shift boot" and you'll find a wealth of information.

I searched and found many posts. Seems like you have already done the conversion. Do you have any pics ? It seems like this was a really popular topic

Plowtown,
1. Make sure the e-brake is on.
2. Turn key to on position but DONOT TURN ON CAR.
4. Shift into 1st
5. There is a staple in a slot in the front of
the shift handle. Remove the staple and pull
the handle up.
6. reverse the process to re-attach the handle.

<strong>personally, i like the t-handle. Gives me something to rest my hand on and its a hell of a lot better than the camaro one <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif"><img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
