Default Remove Ring from "GlowShift" Gauge?

I have a GlowShift nitrous pressure gauge. I would like to take the stock black bezel off and move, even if I have to rattle can it, to a chrome color to match the interior scheme I am going with. Does anyone know how I might get the gauge apart? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here is what the gauge looks like:

Mods, I know I don't see GlowShift as an advertiser on the side, but they pop up on the top all of the time, so I would hope this is an okay post.

^^Posting the names of products, blah blah is fine, just not direct links so don't worry...

On to your dilemma, I think you're just going to have to mask it off and paint it on the gauge. I have yet to figure out how to take one apart and put it back together (as I want to modify my Auto Meters)

id have to post pics.. but i dont have any. if you get a blade and pry off the ring slowly around the perimeter where the metal ring hits the white plastic casing of the gauge you can detach it. you can place it back on carefully with out denting in the ring. i was actually surprised that the clear lens is actually a glass lens i though it was a plastic lens

Yea, Mark, I've been meaning to Pm you about this. I figured it out, but haven't had a gauge to test it on. The ring pretty much just snaps on. The white plastic housing has a lip and the ring just snaps into place. The hard part is simply getting the ring off without damaging it. The plastic rings are gonna be harder to get off without damaging, but should definitely be doable.

Its true, I tried. I used tiny screwdriver (eyeglasses size type). I came right off. Then I decided I was being impatient on my interior and wasn't sure if I wanted to chrome it after all, so I put it back on. It was pretty easy, and for you Mark, it should be a piece of cake!!
