How do you clean this WHITE leather??

How do you clean this WHITE leather?? Yeah, I've got white leather in my NBM '99 SS (#68), and yeah, I special-ordered it that way, and yeah, sometimes I regret it. I know it was a pretty rare option and why, but someone out there must be going through this Hell too. Any magic solutions for getting and keeping it clean? The best product I've found is called "Goo Off". It takes the grey off, but the deeper marks are hard. Its also pretty strong stuff (more of an adhesive remover really), and it just can't be too good for leather.

Re: How do you clean this WHITE leather?? There are several good cleaners; Mothers is good, Zaino is good and good old saddle soap is good. Most important , once you get it clean, be sure to treat it with conditioner, probably two applications for white. That way it will be much easier to clean.

Re: How do you clean this WHITE leather?? I have very light camel leather in my 00 black SS and lemme tell yeah, I know where ur comming from, however, there is a very simple solution. Turtle Wax Conditioner is really good and can get just about ne thing off, good luck, this product can be found at any local pep boys.

Re: How do you clean this WHITE leather?? saddle soap, OFTEN!! Make sure you usa a good conditioner. I personally soak the tip of the rag in bleach, and thejn rub it in the saddle soap, then wip it off. The white dye is more of a spray-on, and will peel up like a bad sunburn if you use something harsh. I had mine replaced under warranty. Go to www.30th-ta.org and see what people have been talking about for 3 years with the white leather.

Re: How do you clean this WHITE leather?? Trust me, I have tried everything!!!! Saddle soap is hands down, the best thing for white, if preserving the leather is your gaol, and it should be!! My little bleach trick works wonders also, just make sure it is a very light amount, jast damp, then swirl it around in the saddle soap, I use the paste not "gel" do yourself a favor and go to the 30th site. Everyone on there has white leather <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Can't say the same here <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
