people with black tail panels
i was going to paint my tail panel black and was wondering what kind of paint you were using. i went to the local auto paint shop to get a satin black paint and he told me a good satin black paint was illegal in california because of the chemicals used in it. any help or pics would be appriciated

A buddy of mine swapped panels. I got his black panel off of his black SS and he put on a new one with a dark custom gray paint.
I put silver urethene fill-ins on my panel to accent the "Camaro" portion of it.
Another idea we came up with was to fill in the trunk key hole. A little fiberglass work and it looks like it was never there. No need to take out the key either. It fit right on with no problems. And it look sweet with no key hole there.

satin will clean the same as anything else when you wash your car, its a rougher surface so you have to scrub harder to get it clean as apposed to a smooth glossy surface...

Okay, I'm accenting my car to Blue and Black (NBM with black hood, wheels, tint, etc) Would getting a black camaro panel or a Berger SS panel look better?
