98-02 has a little more style I think but both look great it depends on your style, if u want a stock ss lt1 look for the first one but if u want more style get the newer one (plus should be cheaper since less rare)

Voted for lt1 style. I think they look much better by not having the two posts below them, keeps it clean but still goes with the lines on the car by having the lip upwards.
With that said, I saw one (lt1 style) on craigslist and was wondering the best way to identify it as either oem or repro? I'm assuming if it's metal vs fiberglass? Thanks.
