I was on the Power Tour and the all Chevy Berger Show and got a close look at the car in person. That is a one off hood.........If you look closely the bottom half is an SS hood (you can still see the "Ram Air" ducting) that was cut to clear the intake of the engine then it was reskinned with a fiberglass outer shell.
Actually there are going to be a few of them made by Berger Chevrolet and GMMG with the C5R block 600hp Phase III 427 motors found in some of the ZL1's GMMG built.
The car in the photo has already been taken appart, the fenders and front nose piece laser scanned to make molds from, and then reassembled. There will be around 20 or so cars made with these widened fenders some of them are already sold. I can't wait to see one finished.
don't think they are for sale, from what I can remember; the C5R Camaro was a 1 of 1 concept vechile that never went intro production.

Thats not european, but it is a lot of custom work. Overall, I like it, but I dont like the extra Corvette-style holes under the fogs.
I think the blue Camaro that started this thread is the best looking Camaro I have ever seen!

If I could get the C5R front and rear fenders, as well as the nose (I would NOT do the spoiler extension, the 98 - 00 SS spoiler would look great with that) I would have an awesome looking car! I would definitly be willing to shell out the cash for those pieces in a heartbeat!

Isnt that an LS1tech members car? If not, i remember reading something about someone turning a T-top car into a "targa" vette...
I dont like the wheels, but everything else is alright imo.
In the new GMHTP, SLP has their Ultra Z 427/C5R powered car, and in it they talk about if a customer wants they would build them one similar just "street friendly" The cam specs on their car, are pretty outrageous for the street. So if ya want one, give SLP a call lol. Just have a huge tax return handy

I don't know if he was a member of LS1Tech or not but he was a member of CamaroZ28.com. His screen name is Whistler on there. He did all that custom work himself. Notice anything missing? He doesn't have front turn signals anymore. Yes, the fascia is "stretched" another couple inches or so. He also has C5 taillights. I think he's the one that came up with the smoked headlight idea and the first writeup of how to do it.
I wonder what kind of hood he has? Could be custom too knowing all the custom things he did. Looks pretty nice. (needs to be painted the color of the car though)
EDIT: Found him. He's Whistler on here too. This is his sig - gives some info about his car.
