Tires for Z06 wheels...

Tires for Z06 wheels... If I were to go with 17x9.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears, with the car lowered 1", would 275/40 be good for front and rear or would I have to run 275/35 in the rear??

Re: Tires for Z06 wheels... And, just in case you're wondering you can go 18X9.5 all the way around with 285/35/18's and still have no problems on a car lowered 1 1/2" or less. That way you can still rotate <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I went with a 285 in the rear to minimize problems just in case I had some severe rubbing... and I did. After some cutting, pounding, adj. panhard and upgrading the control arms no more rubbing with the 285's. After some more adjustments I believe I can now go with a 295 or a 305 but I'm gonna wait until these wear out.
