NICE! Too bad you couldn't separate the USA & the LS1 with a space.

a half space would have either pushed it offcenter to the right or the left.. and they couldnt put 2 half spaces (one full space) in the center (system didnt allow it).. Its hardish to see in the pic but I did paint a dot inbetween the words for the phonicly challenged

Nice! When I had my SS I tried to get USSA, but the DMV said it was profane viewed in a rear view mirror (VA has two plates). It went to a committee for like two months, I explained I had a Camaro SS but to no avail.

It hurts in weight, that's why most drag racers pull the upper panhard off

Steve, do you have any pics of your shaved front bumper cover? Mine is at the body shop right now getting the grill mount holes filled, the "camaro" filled as well as the badge filled.

Im not worried about weight.. I just want a nice stiff chassis.. Besides were talking 2 pounds and its over the rear wheels..

SLP decal is from a guy names Orangepeel.. page him over at the SLP board (there is a topic now on this decal) or LS1.com (not sure if he comes here).. He is in AZ.

Thanks for the comments..

Kinda off-topic, but where are you getting an upper panhard rod from? I didn't think there were any available except for stock ones.

Granetelli made them but had none in stock till I asked.. he is making a batch of 100 units.. I think they run around $100 each.

Seems to me to be an overlooked item.. if a stronger lower PHR helps then a stronger upper bar couldnt hurt

Steve, you didn't get the bumper cover filled, did you? You just slapped the WW grill insert on over the holes, right? I would assume that if you would have had the holes filled, you wouldn't have put a grill on, correct? I like the flag background. That is a nice plate!
