Default Dash removale tips and trick

Anyone have any tips or tricks to getting the dash down as painlessly as possible? Ive tried searching but nothing but old threads but nothing to helpfull.

Yes up to date tips please ... My dash is cracked and I'm scared to fix it because I know as soon as I try to move it .... it will shatter into a million pieces!!

Pull both A pillar covers off. Those just slide off. Just plastic pushpins hold them in. If you have ttops then there are a couple screws up top. To take the dash cover out you just have to slowly pry up on it and it will come up and off. There really isn't anything hold it in place but a couple clips and some Velcro.

where would you recommend prying it up from? and just to confirm this is the piece on top of the dash when the defrost vent and theft system LED in the vent right? Hard to believe theres only a few clips and velcro holding it in..looks pretty intimidating from first glance

Start from the front corners and carefully lift up. Lift it up as evenly as possible moving your way back and it just comes undone and out.
