go for it! I repainted my whole car and put some stripes on it. Just make sure you do some good wet sanding and prepping so you dont get orange peel.

If you are having a shop repaint the entire car, I'd suggest Viper Steel Gray. Looks awesome on F-bodies. Or Millenium Yellow (vette color). Those are my two favorites. Good luck!

Boo @ Millenium Yellow...i dont even like it on C5s personally. GM has a gray now similar to the gray the Viper has, called Spiral Gray, thats an option. I say go for the dark metallic blue. I love black and blue, nothing looks better, imo. I dont like "flashy" colors, cops tend to be drawn to 'em lol, just my .02. Sorry 'bout the car, but @ least you can make an even better statement w/ her now

I would agree w/Grey as an option, it does look really good on f-bodies, to bad they didn't produce that color...

u do that candy kolor and its going to cost u about 3000-6000 depending on where u live i would find a friend or somebody who does work on the side maybe a peral or a metalliac flake in the paint that would be the most affordable way cause paint aint cheap

Good luck repainting the whole car cause your gonna spend some serious money to get a real good paint job! I am getting my car repainted and it would of cost me $6,500 but my friend is the painter so I got a good deal. I am painting it Viper Steal Grey but I told him to try to make it a lil different and add a little more blue.

I've been wanting to see Polo Green (LT1 color) on an LS1 TA. Used to have a 94Z Polo Green. Kinda miss the color.

If you stop and think about it, it really isn't going to be that much more to have the entire car painted. Plus, the painter won't have to blend any repairs into the existing paint on your car. It's a no-brainer if you're going to change the color of the car. I was going to have some repair work and painting done on an '88 Camaro I owned several years ago. It was $800 to paint the soon-to-be-repaired areas, or $1600 to paint the entire car. Of course, I went with the entire paint job since the original paint was at least 10 years old at the time.

Paint the entire car, you won't be disappointed. Also, paint it whatever color you want. It'll look good regardless of the color--it's an F-Body!

Dont forget the Nassau Blue that was on the Corvettes which is a bit brighter then the Electron...more along of Medium BLue Metallic. Tangerine pearl would be quite different along with the Purple they had in 98 as well as the colors the other folks said <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
