Slp ss grille mod
How do you secure the mesh grille pieces to the slp grille. No matter what ive tried it doesnt seem to stick very well. Theyres not alot of surface area on the grille to stick the mesh pieces to. Thanks <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />

Oh, and I don't think it's "SLP's mod" but someone on their forum did it and shared.

Re: Slp ss grille mod
Tape off the ends and drill SMALL holes.....I think I did 8 total, 2 at each corner......
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/blubeast/AUT_0415.JPG" alt=" - " />
Pre-bend the wires in half, and try to get the "loop" as small as possiable so when you fit your screen over them, like a puzzle, twisting them will make it tight to the grille.....
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/blubeast/AUT_0417.JPG" alt=" - " />
trim off any extra around the edges (this was taken before trimming), just do a test fit......cut the twisted wires and push the "pigtails" to the sides....oh, the fiberglass re-enforced cutting wheels for the Dremel are a must!.......
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/blubeast/AUT_0418.JPG" alt=" - " />
hope that helps..........and you can also polish that bad boy before you stick it on!!...
