dash questions/ swap?

dash questions/ swap? ok hi guys, i have a 95 z28. well when i got it the top dash panel had been taken out and replaced with carpet of all things
. i have a parts car with the same dash but there is one problem, the parts car dash is tan, mine is black. first question: what kink of paint could i use to spray it black? second question: how hard is it to switch to a 97-02 dash? is it a basic bolt up deal, or would i have to rewire crap? thanks

you will have to use the 97 wiring harness or the cluster won't work. Im not sure what other electronics will not work but for sure the cluster won't work right. It can be done but its alot of work

do it only if you really really really love the car. It was a pain in the *** to get it all done. If you go through it, you'll know what i mean.
