Someone needs to make a Sail panel piece !!! Why could'nt someone make a sail panel piece that would go over the existing one on our car?? (F-body 98-2002) I would think some type of thinner plastic or flexable fiberglass of some type which would be moulded over the original, be made so that it would snap around and over the original. Make it so it is paintable and be attached with 3M tape or glue on??? I have been reading here for many years about the number of people who have the dreaded bubbles and this would be a much easier and cost effective way to correct the problem wouldn't it? Maybe 6litereater designs would be interested in such a thing? Heck you make it customizable with some sort of lip on the back edge for a custom look??? (Maybe not)

Been talked about 20 times at least. Way to big of a piece to be cost effective (especially on shipping) over just trying to repair old one or lay carbon fiber on top of existing one...

no i tried vynil and the bubles still show. not to mention the blk vynil is not as glossy as the original sail panel. someone really needs to do this for us. there are 1k's of cars out there with this problem
