Unfortunately you need to remove the entire door panel to get at the mounts of the leather/cloth door panel insert. Sorry no other way. Would be your best bet to just switch entire door panels.

I get the joy of replacing my passenger side door panel this weekend, since it gont cracked. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Default How do you remove leather door panel inserts?

I swapped interiors with another Camaro. I had the cloth seats and replaced them with the leather. Only problem is, neither of us (the other owner or myself) knew how to remove the leather inserts from his door without messing it up. We only want to remove the upper leather section, not the whole door panel (mine plastic panels are black, his gray). I just want to swap my cloth inserts with his leather inserts. Any ideas?
His car is a '98 and mine is a '00. The fit is exactly the same.
