Default HID Help!!! ASAP!!!!

I'm trying to install a HID kit from DDMTuning. It's the 55w kit. They are on a friend's car. When he ordered them, DDM said he would probably need a wiring harness with a relay to install them. We have tried it every way possible with and without the harness, we tried reversing the plug and they just blink then go off. I looked through several threads and still can't find anything that has helped. Hopefully someone can help us out.

Thanks in advance

I'm sorry I can't help you but don't look to DDMTuning for help. I had sent several emails with no response.

check the fuses. Replace them for some good ones. I had a kit (not ddm brand) and they used some cheap *** fuses. My brother replaced them, and no more flickering/turning on and off.

Sounds like ballasts are not getting enough power to light up.

I just got my HID's on my car yesterday. WOW what a difference. Mine were off of eBay and they were 100% plug-and-play. Glad you got yours figured out.

To be honest, I've only heard of that strobe happening with cheap kits but that DDM kit is supposed to be a really nice kit, right? Damn that sucks. My buddy had a 03 GT that he bought HID's for and he said that after a couple of weeks they would strobe and he ended up buying some $300 kit for low-beams only and it didn't happen anymore, but like I said- my kit is a cheap-o kit and it was on another SS for 8 months and worked great. Good luck guys.
