burple?

just went and finally nailed down that my car is navy blue metalic. now my question is that when my car is in the light it has a vary distince hint of purple to it which leads me and my friends to call it burple. lol is this normal for navy blue metalic cars, or is there something wrong with my paint? i am not the original owner could it have been repaint before i purchased it?

I see burple when I look at NBM cars. But I doubt you'll get an NBM owner to admit it. lol

When I was shopping for my car, 8 years ago (god damn I'm old), NBM was at the top of my list. I couldn't find one that was just right, so I went black. Let them call it burple all they want. I believe it to be the finest paint ever used on these cars. Perhaps a tie with Medium Blue Metallic; though that might be because it was so rare. You have a kick *** car. I smell jealousy in the word burple!

it's normal , owner of nbm for 6 years ..

there is a slightly little difference not noticeable , my cousine has a '98 nbm and my car is '99...sometimes his car looks darker than mine .

I love when mine puts out purple. it happens whene their is more orange in the light, like around dusk. looks awesome.
