Paging the polishing pros!!!!!

Im in the middle of trying to polish my A/C canister and want to know how long it took some of you and what did you do for that perfect finish? Mine is shiney, but it has buffing wheel marks, and alot of knicks in it still <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Did you have to sand it first?

Also, dont you use the white rough for polishing aluminum parts?

I just simply hit mine up with some Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish and it came out like a mirror!

I hit it with some ultra fine steel wool first, and then I used a bit of NevrDull. Man it looks like a mirror! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
