Exhaust Questions I know this is asked alot, but this is a very hard choice.
Ok i get my car this week, and i am fixing to order my exhaust, and my two choices right now are the Borla Exhaust and the SLP loudmouth.
I am going to order the ftforce.com cut-out, the one where you flip the switch and it opens. If there is any other alternatives to this please tell me!
Back to the exhaust, which exhaust is louder the slp or borla? Also i have seen the borla polished and it is AWESOME!!! That's what i want to go for, but i would like to see pictures of both the borla and slp exhaust. So post em and give me your opinions on both of them. Also if you liek any other type of exhuast tell me to!

Re: Exhaust Questions spud04 you can start out with 0000 steelwool. Then I use a polishing wheel that fits on my air grinder. Usually I use Wenole(sp?) blue and then red. Then if I want to get carried away I'll use some Mothers metal polish at the end.

Re: Exhaust Questions I have a loudmouth on my 01 WS-6, I will post some pics tomorrow morning(I need to take the pic) or if you E-mail me at tjeffers_2000@yahoo.com I will send you a few diff pics. By the way I love the way my loud mouths sound, much louder than the Borla but it is only bothersome when you go on a long trip on the highway, alot of drone in 6th gear.

You would almost have to see these systems in person to make a choice.I have seen the Borla,GMMG and SLP LM all at the same time.The polished Borla stole the show for appearance.The SLP LM stole the show for loud attention getter,the GMMG was a smooth original muscle car sound with no rasp.
I went with the SLP LM,it was a big gain for the $$,it was easy to install myself.I like going to cruise meets,the cars there are so loud i had to do something so people would notice my car.

Re: Exhaust Questions you mentioned buying from ftforce.com?...i would NOT recommend that.i am currently in dispute with them over items ordered.there customer service sucks if not non-exsitant.find your electric cut out elsewhere.i went through them becase they had a ws6 hood for my 2002 z28 that i loved but 3 months later???so i say screw them but thats my opinion

Re: Exhaust Questions thanks for all your replys, yea i am really considering the loudmouth, but the polished borla looks sooo clean, and i love how the chambers lok on gmmg, but i think i am going with the sound on this one.

Try QTP for your electric cut outs. But I have to question why you want to spend that kind of money on those cut outs when you seem to be leaning towards the loud mouth. I have heard the loud mouth in action and do not think you will notice a huge difference in sound or performance for the dollars spent. BTW, I am the one Todd2001SS was referring to with the GMMG.

Re: Exhaust Questions Well I want a cut-out now and later I wanted to purchase a loudmouth but I am leaning away towards that. By the way I love your car, I think I am gunna go with my elec cut-out and just regular ol' flow master or maybe a 1 chambered flow.
