Default How to remove a pin stripe

I have no clue, do you?

Is it as simple as wet sanding it down to the paint? How do I protect the paint around it?

It should be vinyl.. just peel it back .. go to Autozone or Advance Auto Parts and get an eraser wheel that chucks into your drill if you wanna be real fast with it..

It's not vinyl, it's paint.

Oven cleaner will sometimes wipe a real pin stripe off.

Try just rubbing it with a soft towel and paint thinner, with a little time it should come off. When your done you may need to do some light sanding and polishing. Chances are if you try and sand it off you'll go through the surrounding paint, and if you don't go through it you'll probably see were the stripe was due to the differant thicknesses in the clear.
