i have a pro 5.0 shifter with there shortened shift lever on my camaro and was wondering if the new vette shift **** would screw right into the top off it or if it needs a bushing or a reducer to make it fit?

Not sure if the new ones are any different. I have had mine for a couple of years and I needed the bushing or whatever it is to fit the 5.0 shifter.

what you'll have to do is drill it out and tap it. I think the threads are m14.5. I have one, unless you buy one that it has already been done on, you'll have to do it yourself. It will not screw down on its own. I tried. It is an awesome shift ****.
