I like how your car says camaro ss and then an inch under it, in case you missed it, it says camaro ss. I personally like the idea of color matched interiors over stock, but a lot of people prefer to sand it smooth and then paint it. If it were me, i would have painted it a gray, then a few fine layers of color matched pewter, then i would have drug a course brush across it, then repeated a few times. Then spray a matte clear coat. You would have brushed satin Pewter. I think it would be awesome, thats just me though

I think it looks good. It would look horrible if I did the same for my NBM TA, but it looks good with your car color.

I personally like it. I did something similar to my Dodge Dakota when I had it I painted my cash black inside of the plastic gray it came in and then did a silver accent since my truck was 2 tone with silver. I don't think paint matching my Camaro would look right since it's red but I had thought about doing it in silver since I was kinda working with the whole red/black/silver scheme.

looks alright. Don't paint the vents themselves it'll look like ****. Trust me, I did this in my old v6. Also pewter. I regretted it.

I think it looks good. I have been thinking about painting those same pieces just like you did so thanks for posting the pics. I think it modernizes the interior a little and is a neutral color. I plan on doing the brush idea as mentioned above, I experimented with some extra interior pieces and if done properly, looks just like brushed aluminum. Also sand the plastic back and forth in the pattern you plan to do the brush marks.

I also agree with others that any other color would be rice. Although many vettes have color coded dash pieces. As it was said, do what YOU want with YOUR car, but the true test is if you still like it in a month or two!

Do what you want with your car, but pewter colored calipers look HORRIBLE. I saw it before on camarov6.com and it wasn't pretty. My ss is pewter and I have a pewter/black/red theme. My calipers are red. It sets it off beautifully. Trust me man.

I don't like it because it focuses your attention to the vents.. I prefer a clean, same color interior that will flow together better..

Not have 3 places that the eyes are drawn to..

i used plastic primer you can get at home depot and i went to auto zone or pep boys to get the touch up spray paint..just have to find the color code...its an exact match...the only thing i sanded was the gauge trim and i like how it came out so im gonna sand the other pieces

IMHO, ******* hideous. My car has red interior (it is a red car) I bought it that way, and it's gross. Just haven't had the motivation to change it yet.

No. I didn't miss it. I just think since I hate mine so much, I hate everyone else's too
I am just going to find a parts car and take the parts out of that since mine looks pretty shitty.
