Put Blackbird stripes on my Firehawk
Put Blackbird stripes on my Firehawk So my buddy bought silver blackbird stripes for his white Firehawk, but ended up replacing his silver wheels with chrome Firehawk wheels. He gave me the stripes for my black Firehawk, since I have the silver wheels and silver Firehawk decals. After an hour of positioning the first stripe(couldn't find any other pics of a real Firehawk hood with Blackbird decals) and 5 minutes of measuring to get the other stripe even, I now have Blackbird stripes on my Firehawk. I wanted to post photos in case anyone else is thinking of doing it, they can reference the location of my stripes as either good or bad looking. I like the clean black look without the stripes, but the car definitely gets more positive attention with the stripes. Was looking on opinions to keep them or not. Thanks.

I really wanted the stripes forward a little farther to line up with the nostrils better, but they weren't long enough to make the back of the hood then
and I really wanted a clean end at the back of the hood. Thanks again for your opinions.

Not sure why but when I tried taking photos of the car, I just couldn't find the angle that represented how the car truly looks. Oh well, that's why it's here for opinions. Thank you.

I did mine on the spoiler too..My car shines soo much its hard to get a picture were you can see it! Thinking I might change them up anyway. I get bored easy and this is a reason to change!
Sorry man , but Im just diggen that at all . IMO , the lines of the Firehawk hood dont support a stripe like that very well . The shape of the WS.6 hood works because the sides of the hood bulges are flat

I say go for it, but maybe in more of a charcoal color rather than a light color like white. I have black, black bird stripes on my NBM TA.. u can only see them if you're right next to the car tho lol
I'm diggin on the ones on 223 Hawk they look better because of the way they "finish". Plus a very good job getting the lettering in there. I was thinking of doing this to my hood but didn't know if someone could get the lettering right.

. Just diggin the other ones better Well of course painted will look better . I'd love to come down there to MO and have you paint my whole damn car! Yours looks great. I know the black and silver is over done a little, but I'm not gonna change the Firehawk wheels, so I kind of have to stick with silver. I'm gonna keep em on for a while, they look far better in person than any photo. Maybe when I get the $$$ to get the car repainted I'll go with a modified version of the 10th anniv stripes. Again though, thank you all for your input, and keep it coming. I'd like to have some ideas for the future because I'm definitely not changing out the firehawk hood.

I for one, love the blackbird stripes on a WS6 hood! Simply nothing looks better than that combo.

I like how the stripes came out on 223hawk's hood! I think he custom painted them on.
But yours is the first hawk i've seen with the actual WS6 stripe part...and unfortunetly, I have to say I'm not a big fan of the way it came out.
I think they are too thick of a stripe for the firehawk hood (IMO at least). But I'm glad someone put these stripes on a hawk hood for referance.
So I have to say, remove them.
