Default Pic of my engine bay, need suggestions.

I get bored with my car easily so I'm always looking for stuff to do to it. I made that battery cover at work one day and I made that heat shield for my FIPK in my dorm room. What can I do to my engine bay to make it look better? Something that doesn't require a lot money would be best

See that medium grey plastic between the front bumper and your hood latch? Remove that and paint it gloss black...it looks a lot better that way. Pretty easy to do too.

Take an SOS steel wool pad and scrub your A/C canister, it'll polish up like a mirror. The brake lines do the same.

I don't realy care for the pvc pipe or whatever it is, so I'd remove that. If it's funcional for you though, I recommend getting some better looking pipe, or something to cover it with. I'd also get some of the brackets chromed. I did that, and I can't wait to get back and put them in. I got my stb chromed too, so it is gonna look phat. You could also try to hide some of the wires, like a few of the members here have done. Those are just a few things I noticed.

It's kinda faded in the pic, but this is what jmx is referring to:

Get some FRC. It made a world of differnce in my car. And I'm gettin a few things chromed when I get home. You can also Polish the AC lines and evap, along with brake lines. Get the Blue Magic metal polish($5 at autozone) and use a **** load of elbow grease. Do that for starters.

So do I use the metal polish in addition to the steel wool? Or is it one or the other?

I would say use the steel wool pad and then use a light wet sand paper. Thn polish it all up with the blue magic liquid polish. That's exactly what I did and it turned out great.

What I used what 1000-3000 wet-dry sandpaper then after it smoothed out(and got bright) I took the blue magic and did that and it got really reall chromed deep look to it. Came out really nice. Did that to the maf and TB and they both came out great. Brake lines I will do when I get the car back with it new mods
