Default Interior Swap?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has done an interior swap from a new car into an old car. I have a 71 Chevelle and while I was working a pontiac dealer from 04-06 I just fell in love with the interior of the new GTOs and was wondering if anyone has attempted something to this effect. If so could you post picture or a link of the swap process.

There is a local guy that has fox body with the interior from a 00 mustang which has very similar dimensions and I don't really care for how it turned out.

BRP hotrods has a 69 Firebird with new GTO interior on their website and it looks amazing, if they could chime in that would be great.

theres also that guy with the MASSIVE camaro build thread buried here. Exterior is opposite what youre looking for, huge wheels, airbags, body kit, etc.

The interior, however, was a mix of custom fiberglassed panels, and brand new impala (iirc), such as the dash. If you have an 'in', the brand new buick regals have VERY clean all black interior. (kind of german looking though)

EDIT: that gen1 ta is ******* ridiculous. I wish there was more info on it.

I read an article, back in the 90's where a guy put a 4th gen camaro interior, including dash, into a 2nd gen camaro.

Was neat, but looked a little awkward. I think it was in a super chevy magazine IIRC.
