A request for this forum/section to the mods. This is personally my favorite section right now. It seems to have the best people, answers, and not everyone's response is basically "no, you are an *** hat." However, I am getting tired of people posting their detailing and their pictures that we have seen about a billion times in one form or another. I do like unique mods, such as wraps, custom interiors/exteriors, installed parts from sponsors and the like. I believe that it would be beneficial to add a sub-forum that is dedicated to detailing, "Pics of my car," "2010 pics of the 'bird' or 'camaro.'" This section seems a little muddied with pictures that we have all seen a thousand times and the ensuing post whoring of "nice Camaro," or "thats a clean T/A."
agree, its one thing if it's heavily customized....stock f body on zr1s? not so much

I guess I'm different but I like all the different ones. Looking a pictures of detailed cars or people showing there car off sometimes gives me ideas on appeareance mods and has helped me learn alot about detailing. I also like looking a fresh new thread everyday which I think we have going on right now in here, this is also one of my favorite sections that I check up on daily. I guess I just like the mix of picture threads to new builds all jumbled in together. My opinion.

i don't mind some of the detailing threads, but the ones of non f-bodies that exist just to advertise a detailing company are lame. I don't care what it takes to detail a lifted f-250.

it would be nice to have a couple sub sections within this section.
especially a picture secture section, because they do tend to show few new appearance mods, and are more just to show off the car in its current look. And at the same time multi media section sucks if pics are what your looking for, there's just a bunch of random video threads and other stuff posted there, So to have one specifically for showing off your ride would be nice.
Same goes for the detailed car pics. And i swear, there needs to be guidelines with the detail threads, as to what type of pics to take and what info to give. If you just take regular pics of a car sitting on your driveway, it just looks like any car after a wash. nothing special. You gotta do take pics that actually show that you did something: good/ detailed/ halogen light/ before/ after/ reflection pics. the pictures should show your work. And i agree with hlaalu, keep all the non LS cars out

I feel this has been needed for a while, too. I am as well a culprit posting useless (albeit tasteful) pictures of my car in this forum.
A subsection for detailing/new pics/random would would help keep this section more fresh. More full of good ideas. I realize the website already has a multimedia section, however few people ever post there, so I (and many others) don't bother to check. There is just not enough traffic through that section to warrant me frequenting it, or posting often.

Pictures, just for the sake of pictures, go in the Multimedia Section.

thats all it is for the most part. a whole bunch of youtube videos and such, with a few picture threads mixed in.
