Default Seat problem & paint spots

So my car has some miles on it, and the drivers side seat shows it. Passenger and back seats are perfect. What do I need to do, can I get a new cover, new upholstery or what?
Second, the guy that had the car before me did some kind of clay bar or some **** I can't remember what he called it. Had white paste **** under the hood and inbetween all the gaps on the body. Door gaps, fenders etc.. I cleaned all the **** out, but here is my problem, these spots on my hood, can I do anything to get rid of them? Pics attached

the white paste was probably wax.. and you'll need a new seat cover.. look for an upholstery shop in your area for a quote.. those spots can probably be professionally buffed out.. looks like the paint needs it anyways

I agree on the paint. Some parts of the car have nice paint, shiny for a 12yr old car anyway. But other parts are like milky. So I need to get the car professionally detailed/buffed. Nothing I can do at home?

I've been looking for a shop to do the seat, but my only concern is that the drivers side color won't match the passenger, but hell it looks like complete **** right now. I would love to get something with some red inserts in the seats or something to that nature, but hell no foam showing would be great!

No not yet, man its just freakin hot here and the sun is beaming all day. I have a carport, but I much prefer my dads shop. I just gotta find the time to drive over there and do it. Been real busy, kid, starting school, then all the tuning up i've been doing on the car. What type of wax do u suggest?

thanks

I got some wax and waxed the car. It helped a lot I was amazed. However, at certain angles you can see the spots(less of course) still. One angle the paint looks perfect, other angle spots. IDK, i'm just so impressed of what some cheap turtle wax will do!!
