Default Overlays or paint pen?

i just bought this overlay decal set off ebay for bout $30 bucks i got em in and then i started thinking these dont last for ever ive seen pics where they are peeling n crap i was wondering has any1 used like a paint pen to color like the "trans am" molding on the doors and the nose bird and "pontiac" in the back? or should i just stick with the decals?

I would just use a decal for the "pontiac in the back! Painless. Just be sure to clean the area really good before!

overlays. they are removable and will look flat instead of maybe some streaks like the pen would leave

I had vinyl CAMARO inserts, 3 Z28 overlays and a bowtie overlay on my car for about 3 years and they were still in perfect condition. No peeling, no fading, no staining. Plus, you can pull them off when you get bored with them as I did.

Stainless is the only way to go for anything on your car as far as overlays. 3M tape so they wont fall off, wont fade and will look amazing always. just my .02
