Where to hide EVAP hose?
Where to hide EVAP hose? I've got the Coil covers and I had the evap hose under the coil cover but I'm getting a code for it now. I took it off from under the covers and it works fine. So anyone rolocate the line and if so where? I thought about making the line longer.
I hid my evap inside the drivers fender and got the hose off of the engine. All I did was get some new hose and attache it to the factory 90 deg clip that is on the factory hard line. Routed the hose over behind the fuses and put the evap inside the fender. Then routed the line back out and over to the manifold. I kept the line as low as possible so it makes it harder to see. Looks alot cleaner. I can post pics if you would like.
Thanks that'd be cool to see a pic. So moving the solenoid to the fender area had no ill effect on the eng?
I took it for a ride after relocating it to the stock position OMG car even ran better...I wonder if I was causing a lean condition due to a vapor lock in the tank. I may have. This is how I found out, I couldn't put gas in the tank, it would push it out. My tunner and I have changed dates a few times in the last month. I set it in stone for next week...

It doesn't seem to. Didn't notice any difference in performance at all, just cleaner looking engine without that ugly thing sitting on the intake. I'll try and get you some pics tonight. Once you get in there you will see an open space once you remove the inner fender well. towards the front of the car.
