Default Dashboard cover users inside please

I've got a dash cover but I didn't want to put that taped velcro because of what someone told me that the sticky part will melt and leave a mess on my dash. However, I drive a lot with my t-tops down, and at times, the wind will blow my dash cover up. Or even from a stop, when I gas it, it slides off and into my lap.
I'm wondering what you guys use, any suggestions?

I use a dashboard cover w/o the velcro. When I'm cruising around town, it keeps still. Haven't had any problems with it falling into my lap unless I gun it from a stop, but I've done that only once (I'm not a hard driver.) If I've got the t-tops out, I just take the cover off and put it in the back.

Have one, and I took it from my traded in 1998 - used my own Velcro bases with contact cement - they pulled right up with a bit of effort and some Isopropyl alcohol removed any residue. I only did the PS part closest to the A pillar, and one dot on the SRS cover, and one on the DS.

I'd do that, although I've got a nice embroidery of a Phoenix and a caption of FENIX SS on that's pretty visible from outside the car.

Any particular contact cement? This sounds like something I could do. Probably have to use rubbing alcohol to make those spots on my dash able to hold the contact cement. I had forgotten that my dash is cleaned w/ ArmorAll, probably why it slides all the time.
