Default Detergent Soap? Car Wash

Ok well sometimes when i wash my car i either use the turtle zip wax car wash or just my detergent soap. I have been told that if i use my detergent soap it strips my wax? Is this true? i guess if it strips my wax then when i re-wax the car, it will look nicer..Any comments?thx

Yes it does strip your wax. I have heard to use it when you want to give your car a new coat of wax to strip all the old wax off.

Yes, a detergent soap will strip your wax. I find it best to wash the car maybe once every couple of months with a detergent just to strip down the wax build up, then start with a fresh coat of wax. BUT, then again, I don't use Ziano like half of the people on this site. Apparently it doesn't strip the ziano wax? Those are my thoughts anyway.

Do you eat on your car? Is it a dish or pot?? No. So, don't use dish washing detergent to clean it unless you want to strip it of all wax.

You wash your hair with shampoo.
You wash your hands woth hand soap.
You do laundry with laundry detergent.

SO . . .

YOU WASH YOUR CAR WITH CAR WASH SOAP!
