Cruise control handle letters...
Cruise control handle letters... ...getting slowly erased. Is there a way to restore them? Im thinking like some type of decal or transfer? It would suck to just having to buy a new unit when the one in the work works perfectly.

I would honestly just buy a new piece from gm. It's well worth it, especially considering the fact that all parts for our cars will be completely discontinued sooner or later.

Ha today I was just seeing that my letters were disappearing too. Will probably end up getting a new unit as a decal could just end up peeling off later with the letters so small.
Can the lever itself be replaced without disassembling the whole steering wheel column?
I try not to use the lever when I have enough space to switch lanes. When I don't, and need to indicate to others I am about to switch, I grab the bottom of the lever. It's hard to get used to.
