I hear ya on that. I really want to do it myself but I want it done right. But I'm the kind of person who would rather learn to do it right and go through with it. I'm not too quick to jump on getting someone else to do it for me.

yea im the same way and i learned the hard way this time after roughly 30 hrs of workin on it and 400 bucks spent i kinda gave up and just bought a different color interior haha

I got the material today. Satin black leather vinyl and bright red semi gloss marine vinyl leather texture material cost $80 for 4yds of black and 2yds of the red. Got 60% off. Would have cost $ 176 without discount. Super spray adhesive and some rollers. All together costs under $100 and I got enough to do dash, door panels, glove box and apillars.
Not a bad deal

the only tip i recommend when putting this stuff on is making sure you spread the adhesive evenly on the surface to ensure it sits flat. I need to re-set mine so it smoothes out but it only takes like 5min tops. Just remove the drivers side and passenger side a a pillars and then pop out the dash and then apply adhesive then put the material on and your done. This works with vinyl and suede.

in all reality its not that hard just takes alot of paitence and u have to think out what ur doing i know when it did get finished it looks amazing i just havnt found a good enough adhesive so after about a week it would all peel off and look like ****

my upper dash was in pieces... when i lifted it all the little cracks broke completely... ive got it back together for the most part... there were 9 pieces total i think...

my dash pad was broken into several pieces and broke even more when i tried to handle it... i glued it all back together and sanded it down... it looked really good but as soon as i tried to wrap it, it cracked right down the middle... the plastic is so brittle you cannot work with it at all, let alone press it into place on the dash.... i need a new pad
