Default CME + Factory ground effects.

What is your opinion of how a 1999 Z28 would look with a CME exhaust and the factory ground effects kit? Should I take it off or leave it on? Any input is welcome. Thanks guys.

You will need the CME valence if you want it to look good.

Well yea, thats what I have I meant, will the valence blend it with the rest of the ground effects kit on the car. I dont want the side skirts and the bumper pieces to look out of place with the CME valence and tips on it. I shoulda been more clear.

I'm guessing you have an RS style ground effects kit? So i doubt it would flow too well with the CME valance. My vote is for the removal of ANY ground effects kit and ad the CME

I have seen some photos before with the RS kit and a CME and I thought it flowed pretty well. You could try it and if you don't like it you could remove the RS kit. If I find any pics I will post them.

don't think it'd look right at all. Think about it like this... would it look good to have just the side skirts with no rear gfx at all? no, it wouldn't because the sides would extend further down than the rear, therefore, the sides/rear will not flow right.

the CME valenve does not give the effect of being lower right at the wheel well, only toward the rear of the car (to even out the raked look). So one side of the wheel well (in front of the rear tire) will look noticeable lower than the back of the wheel well.... not a continuous flow

Just pull of the whole gfx kit and get the CME.

Oh I understand.

I think it will look great. Go for it.

If you don't like it, just pull the RS kit off

^thats the RKSports CME, not the slp/6LE style, which i assume is what he's referring to. ^that one does flow better... looks worse in general... but flows better nonetheless, since it was specifically designed to work with the side skirts.

but, i've always liked that red Lt1 ever since i first saw it years ago.

Ok thanks im still up in the air about it.... It is the 6LE CME kit, and it is the factory RS ground effects kit. I guess I will go ahead and get it all painted and bolt it up and see what it looks like. I tried finding some pics of another car but I couldnt find anything.

I think it will look just fine... Worst case, sell the CME valance and get the new rear bumper we make but I would NOT ditch the GFX personally...

OR, keep the CME and maybe put Trans-Am side skirts on instead (less dramatic than RS and will cover the holes)...

my mistake, before my time i was like 7 at the time . I just thought RKsports did that kind of set-up as their own thing, didn't know it was an SLP option

Get the RKsport center exhaust valance they designed it so it would go with the factory or there GFX's kit. But use 6LE tips because they look way better then RKsport tips
