Is it possible to drill holes in the hinges? Or possibly get hinges from a WS6 on here being parted out

thats no the problem the rivets almost make it impossible to get the bolt in, but i can get the one closet to the strut in just not the other one fartherest from the strut

i would suggest either getting a dremel with a sanding wheel, and sand down the areas a little bit, where the rivets hit it. or possibly drill holes large enough in the hinge plate over the rivets that the rivets will not be bothered by it

ooooo... that sucks. no magnets around or anything? good luck though. keep it updated lemme know how it works. and be careful not to take too much off, or you could risk ruining the structural integrity of the plate, and then it would be wasted effort

Make small openings in the bracket for the hoods high spots.. It's less of a risk then doing the hood.. I imagine the latches are cheaper also..

what about drilling out the rivets, counter sinking the holes and put new rivets in? of course you would want to thread your bolts in first so the plate doesn't fall down into the hood
