Re: 6-speed shifter boot
You can get a nice 6-speed shifter boot from one of our sponsors here. www.afterthoughtsauto.com sells them, and you can get them in any color you'd like. They'll be much cheaper than a GM boot, and 10x better quality as well..

The GM boot is vinyl, the Afterthoughts Auto one is nice leather. I've got their leather one on my car. You will still need the plastic frame from the factory one however, and they do not sell that part by itself.

You can buy the plastic frame by itself. I've had to buy 2 so far, I seem to crack it everytime I pull the shifter out.
I got mine from a local dealer for about $10 a pop.
I'm am going to have an upholestry shop make a boot for mine and have the seams stiched in silver thread.

Re: 6-speed shifter boot
does anyone make a shorter boot? Pro 5.0 chopped down to nothing is a LITTLE too short for the boot, it bunches and looks ugly.
