2002 console into 89 GTA?

2002 console into 89 GTA? How hard is it to put the newer consoles into 3rd gen.s? I also plan to install leather seats from an LSx trans am too if it is feasable to do so. Any clue? What else will swap?
seats bolt right in, center console from a 6 speed TA should fit, check out thirdgen for more stuff.
There is alot of stuff that is a direct bolt in or requires a little work, some stuff i know off the top of the nugget:
driveshaft
rear end and all rear suspension
brake master cyclinder
gas tank
fans
Ive seen complete dash's and door panels too, but that is alittle bit of work

The center piece I last checked was interchangeable, but then you would need the right center piece so often people just look for one specific for the trans. Plenty of examples out there of 3rd Gens with 4th gen interiors. Just need to look.
As for getting the guages to work, thats another issue since which I have not done, I would suggest places like thirdgen.org as well.
