Here is a link on polishing I put together...
"How to Polish"
Its fairly easy with the correct tools, just like doing any other project. Then practice makes perfect. I also went all out a bought a 5ft flexible shaft buffing wheel which attaches to the grinder, to reach into the engine compartment to buff items I do not want/can not remove (not shown in the write up).
Read my write up and email me with any questions you may have, I would be glad to help. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I finally started getting the parts put back on my car, but have a ways to go. I still need to order clamps for the hoses, I want a Holley intake, you know how it is, never ending, lol.

Re: Paging Todd2001SS
Thank you a lot for your reply! I already have read your example of the throttle body, very interesting. Can you give me an ideal cost on all these supplies, I would probably buy all of them and give it a try. I am an artist myself, and would definately have the patience and time for this, thank you again, and by the way, is there a specific category on the Eastwood site to find all these "goodies," lol, the site looks complicated, esp. cuz I'm not familiar with this whole sanding business. Thank you again Todd!

Re: Paging Todd2001SS
$100 for the grinder, $150 for the 8in buffer, expander wheel $35. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Eastwood pages-Click on Buffing & Finishing, then buffs or compounds or equipment or expander wheel.
Have you cedit card ready, lol. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
