Default Using Brake Cleaner To Remove Spots On Paint

Hey all,

I have some weird light orangish colored spots on my front bumper i have no clue how they got there, it almost is as if it had sat under a tree which when I have it it only sits in the garage but I think it may have sat out a couple of days while at the shop. I have tried Meguiars Paint Cleaner and Wax but with minimal success, after about 30 minutes of vigorous polishing it only lightened them. Would brake cleaner be too harsh on the paint? The paint on this car is pristine so I am looking for the absolute best option considering everying.

Thanks!

Jeff

Yeah, I wouldn't use break cleaner. You may be able to get it off with some WD-40.

use wd40 or something made to remove tar/sap

brake cleaner is what I use to strip paint from emblems, remove overspray from engine parts, etc...terrible for paint
