Default What is suppose to go here?

Just bought a car and the previous owner had a sub in it. the rear carpet is loose because i don't think they cared to much when they put everything back together. I attached a pic of the area that doesn't seem right. it is the divers side next to the t-top holders. I'm wondering what is suppose to all be over in their and how the carpet is held up? well it isn't really carpet but whatever is covering the area. I'm pretty sure that is where the stock cd changer goes but is there suppose to be anything else over a cover or something? All it has now is the rear speaker panel, then a big gab of nothing and exposed wires.

also up by the seal the "carpet" is just loose and has two holes. I'm assuming some of those plastic holders are suppose to go there or something? there is a big square hole you can see in the second picture. I'm just wondering what i need to put it all back.

If you guys have any pics of the trunk area's on your car i would greatly appreciate it!!!!

one large plastic panel covers that area. all you'd need is that and the 3 0r 4 retainer things that hold it in place.

i'll see if i have a picture on the computer, if not i can post one up later if no one beats me to it.

You're missing one of these:

(top one... at least for the side you posted...)

so that speaker panel goes all the way back and attaches in that location i have in my second picture? Also that speaker panel in your pic that has the big large flat part on it, I assume that is what covers up the spare tire area?

Correct. There will still be that open space on the driver side. Those panels cover from the rear seatback to the rear. I have a pair with Monsoon speakers in ebony from my Trans Am. If you're interested to buy em, send me a PM.

Okay so one more question. What holds the carpet in place in the rear? Around the latch and hatch seal mine is pretty loose and doesn't want to stay in place. Is there suppose to be those black plastic fasteners holding it? I only have one that is near the latch area holding the carpet, but the carpet doesn't want to stay pushed up and in place along the rear seal.

its held up by the plastic panels (that your originally asked about), one on each side, and the center of the carpet at the top just rest on the area where the latch is. If the center is in place and the two panels are clipped in than it will stay fine, but since you're missing the panel, the carpet isn't being held tight to the left
